Rotary Phase Convertors 5-60 Hp

Designed for multi-motor applications and non-rotating 3-Phase loads e.g. Welders, 3-Phase transformers . Suitable for full factory use to support any number of motors or machines which may be used in any combination - with no adjustment required at the phase converter. Rotary models comprise of a static controller and a balancing motor that has no shaft extension and is completely enclosed.

We incorporate a unique "soft start system" that brings the balancing motor to full speed with the minimum of input current.
For example: a 20 HP rotary will draw approx. 15-20 Amps for 3-4 seconds to reach full speed, the off-load current is only 4-5 amps from a 230v single phase supply.

When selecting a Rotary converter, the largest motor to be used should not exceed 50% of the Converter capacity, i.e. For the 20 HP unit the largest single motor should not exceed 10 HP. Smaller motors can be run simultaneously up to 20 HP.
